In the beginning of the anime, we are introduced to the story which tells about the dungeon gate from which monsters come out and attack the city, for whose protection and to stop the monsters, stronger hunters are assigned who use their special abilities.
With the help of this, they killed those monsters and protected the city. After killing the monster, they get some special item which they sell to earn money for themselves and buy powerful weapons.
The main character of the story is Sung Jin-woo, who is an E-rank hunter, that is, a very weak hunter. Despite not liking this job, he still works as a hunter to support his family. Being a weak hunter, he got injured in most of the battles and could not even kill the monsters.
Then one day he entered a dungeon with other hunters where he killed only one monster. And in this fight, he gets seriously injured after which his friend “Lee Joo-hee” uses his powers to heal him.
At the end of the episode, suddenly the gate of the dungeon opens and all the hunters rush in. The corpse kept in the dungeon came alive and killed the hunters who tried to come out.
Now all the hunters have to save themselves from those statues and get out of that dungeon. The story of the anime is quite good, and it has created suspense as to how our hero will get out of the dungeon and how he will become a powerful hunter.
