This series is follow the story of Naofumi Iwatani, who is the main character of this series. Which gets transported to a parallel world and three more people also get transported to the parallel universe. They become the cardinal heroes of the world and later fight monsters called “waves” and protect the land.
Each hero gets their own Legendary Equipment when they are transported. Naofumi receives a Legendary Shield and the other heroes receive equipment such as a sword, spear, and bow. And there is also a girl named Raphtalia, who starts her new journey together with Naofumi.
